Bio: Most tend to think of rescue dogs as abandoned, abused, neglected, dumped. While that is the case a lot of times we also come across the tragic opposite of this. We don’t expect our pets to out live us, but when they do, have you made plans for them? Finn had an amazing, loving home with his mom and sadly she passed away suddenly. While she had thought she had arrangements should something happen, unfortunately they fell through. Finn has been very confused and missed his mom dearly. Finn is a very shy guy and may take some time to come out of his shell, but once he does he will be your shadow. Fast movements and loud noises scare him, so he would probably be best with older children. He likes the other dogs in his foster home, but tends to gravitate to the calmer, lower energy ones. Finn also ignores the cats in his foster home. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved.

Home Check

We ask for a virtual home tour (pictures or videos) Can be submitted through the application or when we contact.

3.
Interview

We will discuss what your looking for and if the current pet fits that or match you with someone who does . Done via phone.

4.
Approve Application

There is 3 days from time of approved app to determine a meet and greet

5.
Meet the Pet

All household members must be present and any current dogs.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Fee is paid. Adoption photo (if adopter is okay with ) is taken

7.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We keep our applications on file for a year. We try very hard for the best match all around. Definitely can switch the dog you applied for if a better fit is found.

We are a foster based rescue so unles we have am adoption event (usually hosted at appleton petsmart) we require an approved application on file to make an appointment to see whom interests you.
