My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to the beautiful gal we are calling Ms. Shep. This name was lovingly given to her by a very devoted group of people who worked really, really hard to get her to safety. You see Ms. Shep has a mind of her own about where she wants to stay. She is said to be like a kangaroo in the fact that she jumps fences and if the fence was too high she would go under it. Maybe she was just lost and trying to find her way home. Nobody will ever know. So Ms. Shep will need a home with an owner to be dedicated to her and her safety and will walk her on a leash at any time she needs to be outside. She will need some training but she is extremely sweet and is said to be good with all people or pets that she came into contact with. Ms. Shep does sit when told and is great on leash. She is about 1.5 years old and weighs just 55 pounds. She was caught in a trap at Kennesaw Mountain and brought to the shelter on 04/05. Ms. Shep is current on vaccines, tested negative for heart worms and spayed; she will be micro-chipped upon adoption. She is waiting for her special person in run 28 and her ID# is 655713.
