My name is Swiftie!

We found Swiftie in our back yard badly injured. Her front right leg was broken with the bones exposed and her right back paw was badly mangled. We took her to the shelter that evening because we were expecting a deep freeze that night and we knew she wouldnt make it. We were told that she would likely be put down due to her injuries. We made a decision based purely out of emotion without much thought or consideration to take her if they helped cover the medical bills. Her front leg was amputated and an entire digit was removed from her hind leg. We spent almost 2 months bandaging and caring for her until she fully healed. Now she is very active and the truth is that with 3 young children, 2 of them under 3 years of age, and both my wife and I working, we just dont have the time to devote to her. I hope someone out there can take her in and give her all the attention she deserves.
