My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nugget Dean is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! He can be a bit shy initially, but after a few minutes, it's all kisses, licks and no personal space with this lovable boy. Nugget has been wonderful with all dogs he's met, and would love a canine sibling to follow their lead as he continues to grow his confidence. He's doing great with house training and enjoys going for walks. He'd do best in a home with someone who can take their time as he learns to trust you. He has done well around kid but due to being startled by quick movements, we'd recommend a home without little ones.

Submit Application

Submitting an adoption application is free and is the best way to show that you are interested in a specific pet!

2.
Interview

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 48 hrs to set up an interview and go over your application

3.
Home Check

Virtual Home Check

4.
Approve Application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

5.
Meet the Pet

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

Sign Adoption Contract

Additional adoption info

An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.

The adoption donation amount of $550 is fully refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is fully vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
