My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ares, the chunky companion who's ready to find his forever home!

This handsome boy is great in a crate and loves nothing more than lounging around the house or soaking up the sun outdoors. He's a pro on a leash for casual strolls, making him the perfect walking buddy for any adventure. Ares is currently working on getting his summer figure back, so he'll need a few less snacks and a few more walks to help him reach his goal. But don't worry, with his charming personality, you won't be able to resist taking him out for extra walks!

While Ares doesn't mind other dogs being around, he prefers to keep his distance when it comes to playtime. He's not afraid to let them know when he wants some space. However, he absolutely adores his toy collection, which seems to grow by the day!

Although Ares isn't quite compatible with cats, he absolutely loves children and people of all ages. His affectionate nature and playful spirit make him the perfect addition to any loving family. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's always up for a cuddle or a stroll, look no further than Ares. He's ready to bring endless love and joy into your home!

Ares is neutered, up to date on vaccines on preventives. He is heartworm negative and in great health aside from needing to trim off a few pounds. If you are interested in meeting this guy please complete an application on our website!

***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***
