My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Goat! I'm a big goofy boy and showing all the puppiness I missed from being a stray. Now that I've had some time to heal and get comfy in my foster home, I'm showing my true friendly self!

I'm a little bit of a thief. I like gathering toys and shoes on the sofa or into my kennel and lovingly laying on them. I don't chew them but I do love snuffling them. I'm a gentleman when taking treats and slowly eat my meals enjoying every mouthful.

I LOVE KIDS! But I can still be a bit clumsy and knock them off their feet or steal their snacks and kiss too wetly. I've learned sit, drop it, off and wait so I don't run out the gates or doors. I'm ready for my furever home! I'm good with dogs and cats too!

Goat will come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $200.

More about this rescue

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
