My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bishop is a medium sized spunky guy! His adorably smushed nose makes us think he’s part Boston Terrier. He has a gorgeous black coat and bright brown eyes that just say “take me home.” He knows how to sit and takes treats very nicely. He’s also a “WOO” boy! That’s right, this boy likes to “WOO!” You can tell how excited he is based off of how much he talks to you. It’s the cutest thing!

Bishop recently attended our monthly Packwalk where he enjoyed his ride in the car, loved the exercise & did great with the handlers 12-year-old son! Bishop was very affectionate with every man he met on the walk & loved giving kisses.

If Bishop is the WOO boy for you, fill out an application with his name on it or come right into the shelter to take him home! For more information about this animal or our adoption process please visit our website at SouthJerseyRegionalAnimalShelter.org

More about this shelter

CARING FOR SOUTH JERSEY PETS SINCE 1947
Founded in 1891 and incorporated in June 1947, we are a non-profit organization and a chapter of the NJ State SPCA. The staff and board of trustees are deeply involved and committed to all aspects of animal care and welfare. The money to finance the shelter comes from fees charged to municipalities to house their stray animals, fees charged to adopt, reclaim or release an animal to us, dues, donations, grants, fund-raisers and bequests from caring individuals. In our function as a humane society, the shelter serves as a refuge for thousands of stray, unwanted, abused, abandoned and sick animals
