Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Salem! (Yeah, we were expecting a black cat too...) This sweet girl was found with her mama and her litter mates inside of a window well. The neighborhood found homes for all of the kitties but one; and Salem made her way to AOS! In her foster home, Salem grew more and more comfortable each day. She likes to play with wand toys and crinkle balls, but is also happy to perch on the couch and watch TV. She is very curious and loves to climb: this earned her the nickname Super Salem! Be ready for Spiderman-level couch-scaling. Once she's tired out, Salem likes to relax with a tuna squeeze treat and a bed pushed right up to the heating vent. She is all ready to find her forever family!
Salem seemed cautious yet curious about the cats in her foster home. With a proper introduction, she may do well with other cats! Ask our volunteers about the slow introduction process.
It is unknown how Salem would do with dogs or small children.
