My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

  • Meet nova! Nova is an approximately 3 year old lab and border collie mix, weighing about 50 lbs.

While my past is not known, I was rescued by some nice people after trying to live outside on my own! It appears I may have lived outside for most of my life, so I’m really enjoying this indoor house life. True to my roots though, being outside and running around is one of my favorite things to do! I’m content just laying in the grass and watching all the people and animals (especially bunnies and birds!). I would ideally do well with a fenced in yard or a place to run around and get my exercise in!

I love other dogs and making new friends! There isn’t a dog I haven’t met that I didn’t like!

Children don’t bother me either, especially if they give me treats!

My foster says I am the biggest sweetheart and have a very laid back demeanor. I can be shy and scared at first, but I warm up quickly. I just need some patience and love! I do great in my crate. Im still  working on some things adjusting to this indoor life though! While doing well, sometimes i need reminded that i can’t go to the bathroom where ever I please anymore! I love playing with toys, but do need reminded of what all is mine! I’m eager to please, and would do well with someone who has some time to teach me some tricks and learn! someone who is patient while I learn and has time to allow me that would be ideal!

I just want to love and be loved! Everyone who meets me falls in love with me! Are you my forever home?
