Pebble and Valerie are boy and girl kitties that are almost like siblings. They met in their foster home and are now very attached to each other. They often clean each other and you can also find them snuggled up together frequently. They are now looking for that special home that will adopt them together.
Valerie is “Miss Social Butterfly”. She is curious about everything and not afraid of people and dogs. She is also very vocal and will definitely tell you what she wants! Eating and playing are her favorite things to do. She has a lot of toys and uses them. Hide and seek in a simple big brown paper bag is so much fun, especially to scare Pebble when he walks by.
Pebble is the opposite of Valerie. He is a shy and reserved kitty; however, once he trusts you, he really loves to sit on your lap and snuggle with you and enjoy some belly rubs. If you try to pick him up he will take off because he is not comfortable with that. He is fun to watch! For example, he spoons out the dry food from the bowl and then delicately eats it. Pebble loves to “hunt” flies if he sees any. He and Valerie also enjoy sitting on the screened-in porch to watch the busy squirrels running around with collected nuts in their mouths. Pebble has a beautiful silky-feeling coat, and his markings remind his foster mom of the Abyssinian breed cat. He looks very elegant! Pebble feels very comfortable around dogs and sits/ lays down right next to them. Pebble would probably do best with children older than 10 years old.
Pebble would be stressed in the adoption center. We decided it is best to do a home visit with any serious adopters whose application has been approved. Their foster mom Andrea will gladly answer any questions, please call her at: 913-306-5682. Thank you for considering giving these two darlings a loving home.
Pebble was born approximately September 15, 2022 and Valerie was born approximately December 24, 2022. Their combined adoption fee is $167.50. They have been neutered/spayed, are up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, are microchipped, and have tested negative for feline leukemia virus.
