Freya is named after the Norse goddess of love and beauty. It's a fitting name because Freya is all love! She is sweet and gentle and all about the belly rubs. Oh, and have you her seen her shining blue eyes?
Freya is a gentle and loving soul with a unique blend of curiosity and warmth. Initially she might seem reserved, but within minutes she warms up to all people and is eager to soak in snuggles and attention.
As Freya's trust grows, she welcomes affection, often laying on her back for a belly rub. Her foster mom lovingly calls it the "Freya flop. When you see Freya roll over for belly rubs you know that she feels safe.
Freya is great on leash. She enjoys taking leisurely walks and exploring all the smells of the neighborhood. She is also learning how fun it is to run around a backyard and play fetch. It's a gift to watch Freya discover the world and get more comfortable in it.
Freya is a medium-energy dog. She loves to go for walks or have bursts of playtime with her toys and then she happily settles in for a nap on the cool floor.
Freya is potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps in her crate through the night and will greet you with bright eyes and a wagging tail in the morning.
She is dog-friendly and kid-friendly. She hasn't met any cats yet but given her friendly and relaxed demeanor, we have a good feeling about it! We would happily get her cat tested for her prospective family.
If you're feeling the love, please apply to have a meet and greet with Freya.
