My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LARRY! If you are familiar with the Impractical Jokers show, we found LARRY! We found this boy just in time too. He was about to be euthanized for space. 🥹 Larry is a volunteer favorite and when we saw him, we could not let him be euthanized. Anyone would be lucky to share a life with him. He will be arriving Saturday April 27th and looking for a New England Home to welcome him. He is a 2 year old 76 lb, dog friendly retriever mix. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Below are some notes from his TX foster...
This is what we know so far...
Larry LOVES people. He wants to be with us, but goes easily to his crate with a treat. He sleeps well on his own. He has never had an accident, nor chewed on anything inappropriate. He does like a chew bone. He is uninterested in cats, but has not found a squirrel that he likes. He is good with older kids, no experience with younger ones, but we have seen no aggressive inclinations. He is very smart and wants to please, but his youthful energy takes over when walking on a leash. He has had limited exposure to other dogs, but seems to play well. He would be great with an active family.
