My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Tasha, and I'm searching high and low for my forever family! 🐾 Let me tell you a little about myself.

First things first, I'm a total sweetheart. I've got a big heart full of love for all the people I've met, especially the little ones – kids are just the best! If you're in need of some gentle kisses and a warm cuddle, I'm your girl.

Now, when it comes to treats, I've got some manners. I'll take them oh-so-nicely, no need to worry about snatching fingers here! And let me tell you, I'm a fan of playtime. Whether it's a game of tug or chasing after toys, count me in! I'm always up for some fun.

But don't let my playful side fool you – I've got a soft spot for snuggles too. I'm just as happy exploring the great outdoors as I am lounging around indoors. And hey, if you're into running, I've heard I could make a pretty good running buddy or just a walk is nice as well. How's that for versatility?

Oh, and did I mention I get along famously with other dogs? Yup, I'm a social butterfly. And speaking of butterflies, my foster family calls me "wiggle-butt" because when I get excited, my whole body wiggles with joy! They also call me "sweet girl," which I think suits me just fine.

At night, you'll find me cozied up in my crate, snoozing away without a peep. I'm quite the well-behaved sleeper, if I do say so myself.

So, if you're in need of a furry friend who's equal parts adventurous and cuddly, look no further – I'm ready to be your loyal companion and best friend forever! 🐶❤️

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
