We are a matched based adoption agency, if you see a dog in our program in which you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online application at kcpaws.org and one of our adoptions counselors will be in touch once your application has been screened. Please note that we do require dogs to meet all members of the family including existing pets in the home before finalizing during your in home adoption.
Adoption fee: $200

Meet Lavi! He was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation in rual MO where he and many other dogs were saved from a life of neglect. Luckily at only 6 months old he is very resilient and was more than happy to move on to the next part of his life!

Lavi is in a foster home and has been doing so well, his foster reports he is crate trained, doing super well on potty training and is leash trained. He loves to be outside and is a great walking buddy.

He does have some herding dog tendencies so he would do best in a home with no cats or toddler aged kids as he is a mouthy player.

He would love a home with another dog to run and play with!

Please complete our online adoption application if you wish to apply for one of our adoptable pets. Adoption fees range from $125 to $350. All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 1 months of free day care at KCPaws All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.

We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agency's to investegate cases of cruelty and neglect. We have a large facility and staff that is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.
