This social butterfly is cool, calm and collected ... and super sweet to boot! Bella is a large young adult Mexican adorable girl who is fully ready to integrate into a forever home. She has full protocol and is house trained, kennel trained and just about perfect!

Bella loves dogs and children and will most likely be okay with cats, but has not been cat tested. What a perfect companion for walks on the beach, drives in the car and pretty much anything else that brings you joy.

Bella is fostered near Ajijic, MX and can be adopted locally or to parts of the US and Canada.

We post our dogs on our website, Petfinder, and on our Facebook page. All queries are directed to fill out an adoption application.

The potential adopter is welcome to discuss the dog with the dog's foster home before proceeding with the adoption.

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
