Meet Felix!!

Hello, potential forever family! My name is Felix, and I'm a handsome 3-year-old black border collie/lab mix with a heart as big as my charming personality. I've been on quite the journey, and now I'm ready to find my forever home where I can shower you with love and companionship.

Let me tell you a bit about myself. First and foremost, I absolutely adore people! Whether it's a cuddle on the couch or a game of fetch in the backyard, I'm always eager to spend time with my human friends. My tail wags with joy at the mere sight of you, and I promise to greet you with enthusiasm every single day.

But that's not all—I'm also a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs! I love making new furry friends and enjoy nothing more than romping around the dog park, exchanging sniffs and play bows. So, if you already have a canine companion at home, I'm sure we'll hit it off right away!

In addition to my friendly demeanor, I'm also quite the smarty-paws. I love learning new tricks and am eager to please, so I'm sure we can master all sorts of fun commands together. Plus, I'm already house-trained and well-behaved, making me the perfect addition to any loving home.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
