My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We just can’t with the pouty lips, how cute can one dog be! Beanie is estimated to be about 1.5 years old and weighs 45 pounds.

Meet Beanie, an adorable young lady with a wiggle in her step and a happy heart full of love! We fear she may have not been treated very well in her past, Beanie is very hand shy and jumpy at times like she has been hit regularly, the poor sweet baby. Even with that, her wiggle butt never stops, just hoping for a little praise and love. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite, so she is hoping her new family is up for a few of those. Beanie will need an adopter who can provide leadership, structure and be able to work on building her confidence and trust. She can also be mouthy, so she will need some work on this. She can't wait to find her forever home and start a new, caring, happy life with you. Come meet this sweet girl today and see her adorable wiggle for yourself! Beanie will need an active home where any children are at least 13 years old.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Beanie would love to meet them. She can shy away a bit at first meeting, but once she is comfortable, she has friendly, loose interactions.

If you are interested in Beanie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
