My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*I AM CURRENTLY OUT OF THE SHELTER UNTIL 4/23/24*

Hello, my name is Clara. I am a 3 year old domestic long hair looking for my forever home.

I am a shy but sweet kitty who would love a lap to curl up on everyday.

I enjoy being petted by my humans and may enjoy playing with toys once I come out of my shell.

I don`t know how I am with other cats or dogs and will need slow, proper introductions with them in the home.

I have beautiful long fur that will need to be brushed daily to make sure it stays luscious and tangle free.

I am up to date on my vaccinations but will need a regular veterinarian to make sure I stay happy and healthy for my whole life.

If I sound like the feline for you come up and meet me!

If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturday 10am-3pm. To help speed up the application process, it is recommended that you complete the online application form found at the link below.
