My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jodi is a 4-year-old gorgeous red-headed boxer/German Shepherd mix weighing 68lbs but is mostly legs! She's got the sweets of the boxer and smarts of the GSD graduating from the K9 Youth obedience program at her time in the shelter with flying colors.

Jodi is currently fostered in a home with two lovely humans and 3 other large dogs. She can do well in a pack setting with polite dogs including small dogs, or can happily live as an only dog. She's crate trained, house trained, and perfecting her leash skills. She joins the weekly leash training class and playgroup social.

Jodi is a quirky, sweet, loving gal and can't wait to meet you!

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers and rescuers combining our skills to help fosters get a dog out of the shelter! The dogs in our program have begun house, crate, and leash training. Our fosters follow a handful of house rules. The transition to a new home is easiest for your dog when these structures are carried over for some time and privileges are gradually introduced. This helps minimize anxiety and behavioral issues.
