My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dan is a 62lbs, 1.5-year-old, cane corso and ridgeback mix (our best guess) with a charming demeanor with dogs and people. Dan is a pleasant and social guy and was often out in playgroups at the shelter around all sorts of dogs, often invites others to play, and avoids conflict! He's equally as charming with people and leans in for rubs.

Dan is fostered in a home with another playful dog, crate and house trained, and is doing well on his leash walking skills.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers and rescuers combining our skills to help fosters get a dog out of the shelter! The dogs in our program have begun house, crate, and leash training. Our fosters follow a handful of house rules. The transition to a new home is easiest for your dog when these structures are carried over for some time and privileges are gradually introduced. This helps minimize anxiety and behavioral issues.
