Why I need a new home

Behavioral issues

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

3 yr. old female black lab. Purchased from a breeder in Augusta, MT.
Maggie is a high energy, very treat-motivated and even more ball/stick-motivated dog. She will retrieve balls to the death. loves to swim. Very smart and easy to train. Grew up in our home and large fenced-in yard running and playing (sometimes very roughly and viscious sounding) with our 3 yr. old yellow lab. Very affectionate and not afraid to look you in the eye. Born and ‘raised’ during COVID so, socially challenged. Excitable, meeting new humans but comfortable after the initial introductions. She is very reactive around unfamiliar dogs, which has turned into aggressive behavior. Twice she has bitten an unfamiliar dog when meeting it, when both were off leash. Ideally a new home would provide her with room to run and play, an owner who wants to train her or just play fetch with her. An owner who understands that she is very scared of other dogs and should always be on leash when others are around.
