Guapo is an adult Chow Chow looking for his forever home. He's about five years old and weighs in at 47lbs. He looks remarkably like a stuffed animal, complete with the stuffing falling out and everything. He is in desperate need of a good groom, which we've slowly been working on...good thing he likes being brushed! At this point, because of his not so great previous environment, we would prefer that he have the chance to fully and entirely decompress in his new forever home. This means we would prefer that he be the only animal for now and, if children live in the home, we would like them to be 12+. Guapo is an easygoing guy but will require a patient home with time to help him build some confidence. Breed experience or similar breed experience highly preferred. We work in collaboration with our Law Enforcement Agencies, members of the public, and other organizations to improve the lives of animals. Forever Paws works to give animals the gift of time through managed intake. This allows us to offer comprehensive treatment and care to stray, abused, or abandoned animals. We will always place the quality of life of an animal as our most paramount charge. Forever Paws is devoted to educating future generations to foster compassionate and humane attitudes towards all species of animal.
