Meet Country! This lovely almost 1 year old (DOB 4/14/23) 57 lbs., Husky girl is a friendly, love bug. Country came to us when her previous owner passed away and there was no one to take her. She has a son that is here also, Panda, and both are great dogs. Country is an easy going gal with her crystal blue/ gray t eyes that are to die for. She is crate, leash, and house trained. She does well with the other dogs here, and done well with kids and cats in her previous home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and ready for her forever home. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
