My name is Captain!

Captain is a 3 year old Pit / Mastiff mix (best we can tell). We rescued him from a kill shelter about 2 years ago and he has been a loving member of our family since. And when I say love - I mean it. This dog LOVES everything. People, dogs, cats, kids, etc. Pure love.

However, as our lives have gotten busier (we have a 3-month old) we realize we're not giving him the level of attention, training and care that he deserves. Additionally, he has no idea how big he is. And with an elderly father-in-law and toddler, we're worried he will knock someone over eventually.

Captain is an ideal dog from someone looking for a dog they can take on hike, train for agility, explore a farm or generally just get him moving. He has zero chill when excited but tires relatively quick and his favorite place to be is on top of his people.

Would love to find a person, couple or family who are looking for an energetic and engaged member to join their pack. He's a great dog, he just needs the right people
