Twizzlers is a Shepherd Husky mix born 1/10/24. He is the epitome of a big fluffy goofball. With his oversized paws and clumsy antics, he's sure to bring laughter and love into your home every day. Whether he's chasing his tail or rolling around with his favorite toy, Twizzlers is always up for a good time.

But don't let his playful nature fool you – Twizzlers also knows how to appreciate the finer things in life. He's the perfect mixture of playful and couch potato, equally content to romp around in the backyard or snuggle up on the couch for a movie marathon.

He's crate trained, loves to play with dogs of all sizes, and is close to mastering potty training. We are seeking a home for him with a securely fenced yard and if there are kids in the home over the age of 5. Applications: www.mikeyschance.com

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.

Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We depend on a network of volunteers and fosters for the care of our dogs. The dogs are fostered primarily in Tri-Cities, WA. We often have Meet 7 Greet events at Petsmart and Paws Natural Pet Emporium LLC both in Kennewick.

"Mikey's Chance" is a dog rescue organization organized under Washington State articles of Incorporation as a Non-profit Charity. We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families. We work with individual adopters, private rescuers, and rescue organizations that share our values. All our dogs are up to date on shots, sterilized, and microchipped prior to adoption, and they are all carefully evaluated to ensure the best possible match with adopters.
