First and foremost, Scooby is a FANTASTIC dog, and our reason for needing a new home is almost entirely NOT his fault.
We rescued Scooby over 2.5 years ago and he's been amazing. Even though he is big (about 65 pounds), he acts like a little lap dog. He's lazy, chill and loves to snuggle.
He is housetrained, knows basic commands, neutered, up to date on shots etc.
Scooby lives with a younger child, other dogs, ducks, chickens and goats and has never had any issues with anything. We have fostered dogs for over 6 months and he's been nothing but lovely to all dogs in our home.
Recently, Scooby escaped the yard and wound up in a fight with another small dog in someone else's yard. Scooby was injured as well. He has since gone after the same dog two more times and the situation has escalated.
I want to reiterate that scooby has never shown issues with any other dog for the years we've had him. Other neighbors dogs he is fine with too.
For his safety, we need a new home for him.
