My name is Nezzie!

STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. If you want to meet any of our adoptables please submit an application. 

Hi! My name is Nezzie or Nez for short! I'm a super sweet girl and love everyone I meet! I love to play with toys and I also love to cuddle! I get along great with kitties and other dogs with proper intros! I would love a forever family or a foster family who can help me find my people. I am about 40lbs and full of love!

 I would love to go on adventures, and I walk pretty good on a leash and am getting better with practice. I hold my potty and don't get into things I'm not supposed to. I take treats nicely and my foster mom says whoever adopts me will be SO lucky! My adoption fee is $SPONSORED and includes a leash, collar, treats, toy and my vetting up to date including microchip and spay! If you would like to foster me, all supplies are provided.

All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped.
AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess.   BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
