We're looking for a new home for our lovable goof of a dog, Tyson.
Ty is a 6 year old Rottweiler/Shepherd mix who wants to be everyone's best friend. He still has a puppy-like energy at the dog park and on hikes, but he can just as easily have a lazy day sitting with you on the couch. Despite his size (58 lbs), he makes a great lap dog! He loves people so much and is an absolute clown - he will provide you hours of laughs with his goofy, floppy demeanor!
We have made the tough decision to rehome Ty because he has gotten more food defensive as he ages, and we now have a young child at home. He and our child have not had any incidents, but we don't want to take any risks moving forward. He gets along with other dogs quite well in social settings, though he's probably just as happy living alone.
Ty knows basic commands like sit, bed/crate, and floor. He's a super easy/low-maintenance dog overall, and we know he'll make a great companion for someone out there!
