My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sage is a beautiful reddish sable dog with a beautiful black curly tail! She is good on the leash, enjoys sniffing and exploring and would love to be your hiking or walking buddy. During her break from her kennel and exploring in the play yard, she would do a "drive by" to check on me for a pet and then explore some more.

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. In 2018, we launched Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
