We rescued a WESTIE almost 6 years ago. He had lived w an older couple who couldn't look after him. "Bo" knows many English words (for example, out, in, walk, treat, go, stay, bedtime) and is house broken. He will scratch at the door he wants opened. He is 9 years of age and is rather set in his ways.
Young people, children and teens, have a hard time with him because he snaps at them and otherwise barks at them. He will tell you when you have a delivery of any type.
He's a cute little guy and he loves me and my wife, but we don't trust him around other people.
