My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Puppies !!!

Squeeee....5 happy healthy mischievous little puppies.

We don't expect these puppies ( 3 boys and 2 girls) to be big adult dogs. Momma dog is a Jack Russel Terrier but we have zero clue on daddy dog.

These 5 have wonderful personalities. all different but all wonderful. A blank slate at this stage in age. Curious, playful, friendly, affectionate little puppies

Stay tuned while we prepare their bios.

Puppies must be picked up in Calgary area.

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.

NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Part of our responsibility as members of Rescue Society is to ensure dogs and cats find their forever families. We want to ensure that the animal you wish to adopt is well suited for you, your home, and lifestyle and we are looking for the best possible conditions for each furry friend. To that end we require the following prior to adoption.

Adoption process – An Adoption Application Form must be filled out and a phone interview must be completed. A meet and greet will be set up to so that the potential adoptive family can meet the pet(s) they are interested in. We also complete a home inspection prior to the adoption and we also complete a small education session that covers many areas of being a responsible pet guardian.

We will require proof of home ownership or copy of lease or rental agreement along with landlord permission to have an animal companion. If applicable, copies of the condominium by-laws to assure animals are allowed in the complex.

Applicants will be required to sign our contract agreement.

All animals are spayed or neutered and have all vaccinations.
We will recommend applicants sign up for obedience classes when adopting dogs.

More about this rescue

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS) is a small no-kill rescue group operated out of Alberta. We are a 100% not for profit society and is volunteer run. We have foster homes all over Alberta.

Dogs are fostered by volunteers until their forever homes are found. While in foster care the animals receive full vet care in both Canada and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where the transport originates. All animals adopted out by NOBARS are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and dewormed.

We work with rescue groups in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, as well, we work closely with several local rescue groups in Alberta. We will transport small and larger breed dogs then place the dogs in foster homes until a forever family is found.
