If you are looking for a smart, sweet, gentle, loving, affectionate dog, then Summer is your girl. Summer is a mix of Great Pyrenees (her mother is a Great Pyrenees, we don't know what her father was) and some other amazing breed, those mixes turned her into a gem! Summer is between 6 months old, she already weighs 43lbs. She is already mastered "sit" and "place" and walks wonderfully on a leash. Whomever adopts Summer is going to get a very loving companion.
Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets.
