What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Pekoe is a 2.5 year old purebred mini Australian shepherd. House trained, knows basic commands, sit, down, off, come etc.
Knows a few tricks, spin, up, roll over, shake paw, other paw. She’s super sweet, loving and loyal, would love to be a lap dog and get all the cuddles. She loves everyone she meets and adores kids.
She’s great with my other dog and has had good interactions with a few other dogs if they can deal with her initial reactivity. She would love to have another dog friend to play with if they can get past the first few minutes. However she is very reactive to other dogs when walking, driving, seeing them through the fence, on tv, etc.
She’s very willing to learn and can be worked with if you have the time and energy. My partner has a very dog-aggressive pitbull and them living together is not an option.
It’s been an incredibly hard decision but I want to find the best home possible for her.
Fee negotiable for the right home
