What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Copper is a sweet and cuddly boy. He is 7.5 years old and about 65 pounds. He is a typical vocal hound dog that needs lots of attention and exercise. He is great with kids and other dogs. We are sad to need to rehome him but with our toddler we just do not have the time or energy to invents into him and give him the home he deserves. He is heartworm negative and current on all vaccines. He has an amputated tail due to a happy tail break, but he still wags his stump and is happy as can be. He currently does live with a cat but he chases her around a lot, so a home with no cats would probably be best. He knows basic commands but no formal training has been accomplished (which I think he could benefit from). We want him to live the best life he can where he can have plenty of space to run and let his personality free. He does have food sensitivities specifically to salmon that we have found and he was on cytopoint injections for a brief period of time to get his allergies under control
