Remington - Remi for short
DOB: 11/22/22
Sheppard Husky mix
Female, spayed
50 lbs
Hi I’m Remi!
I’m confused how I ended up in NY as I had a family in Texas that I loved very much but I guess they gave up on me. I just want my humans to love me as much as I love them, I hope that’s not too much to ask. I was fearful in my foster home for a few days but have opened up so much! I’m a smart cookie and mastered so many new things my first week! I am the Floofy-est girl out there and will give all the kisses and cuddles you could imagine. We could be best friends for life, I just need time to understand that things will be okay.
Im an excellent walker and what some may call a “Velcro dog” as I will stay glued to your side if I can.
I’m a little nervous of new things, but warm up after some time to adjust! Although I love my foster brother and play well with him, I need slow and controlled intros to other dogs as I can be a bit choosy and unsure of other canines.
I love people and haven’t had trouble being around new ones.
I’m very apprehensive of kids and would do best with kids over 10 years old.
I don’t love my crate or being locked in small spaces. It makes me anxious! I snooze through the night with no problems!
I have so much love to give and need the right family to find me so I can be the happiest girl. If you think you’re my person, please apply for me at https://nickelcitycaninerescue.org/adopt-a-dog or message the rescue if you are pre-approved.
