My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OUT OF STATE TRANSPORT available for an additional fee.

What we know about Gus:
💢Great with dogs
💢Great with kids (has lived with kids and another dog previously)
💢Awesome temperament
💢Calm, great on a leash
💢About 1.5 years old
💢Potty trained
💢Crate trained
💢Loves snuggles
💢Recovering from demodex mange (not contagious) but will require a few more medicated baths to help with continued healing
We think he could be a heeler/boxer mix because of the speckles but we truly still don’t have a great idea about breed. The regrowth of hair didn’t help us with this as much as we thought it would 😂

We wanted to note that since Gus had demodex mange, this means he is genetically predisposed to contract this again if he does not take preventatives regularly. 💊 He is currently doing very well on Simparica Trio (combined monthly flea/tick and heartworm medication)! Please let us know if you have any questions about this condition.

Can be cat tested upon request!
Microchipped, up to date on shots and monthly preventatives

More about this rescue

WHY & HOW
Let us start by telling you the "WHY" and "HOW" woofwoof fosters was created. Our founder
moved to TN in February of 2019. Since moving here, she has seen a lot of
posts on Facebook and other social media sites about missing, neglected, homeless, abused dogs, and

overcrowded shelters and rescues. Our founder and her family rented houses while
searching for a place to buy that would accommodate animals. In 2022, they finally found
a home to buy! Now that they have a home and some land, they want to do what they can
to help! The dream is that one day rescue organizations won't be needed and that all
humans will see these beautiful furbabies for what they are….. love in the purest form. It
is part of woofwoof foster's mission to make this happen.
