My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Microchipped, DOB: Mar 25, 2023

Hello, my name is Jill! I’m a sweet girl who loves to play, nap and chit chat.

I wasn’t a big fan of living in a shelter so when I came to my foster family, I was pretty scared and hadn’t been eating. But you should see me now! I’ve transformed into a brave and confident girl who will happily chirp away when I want some attention. I’m still a bit unsure of loud noises like fire alarms and vacuum cleaners, but I’ll come out of hiding right away if you call out to me.

My love language is gift giving so while you’re fast asleep I’ll get to work bringing you small presents throughout the night. I’m a very generous girl. Don’t worry though, I’m very quiet and when I’m not gift gathering, I prefer to sleep close to you. If you get up through the night I’ll chat to you and follow you around, but I’ll happily settle back in and let you sleep in peace once you get back into bed.

I try to always stay on my bestest behaviour. I use my litter box properly, I don’t claw at furniture and I’ve never tried to run outside. As much as I like my humans, I can be a bit unsure of new ones so I just take a little more time to warm up them. I prefer to get my attention by sitting close to you instead of in your lap but I don’t mind being carried around if you’re nice and gentle with me.

Oh! Have you seen my incredible paws! Check out my pictures to take a look! I can catch pretty much anything with them.

Special note from Jill’s foster family: Jill is one of the nicest cats we’ve taken care of. We keep calling her cute, nice, and interesting. Jill was initially scared coming from the shelter, but you can see she really loves people and once she gets used to you, she follows you around and sleeps next to you. She is a joy to be around and it's a pleasure to take care of her!
