Peach is a 5-year-old cocker spaniel who I adopted 3 months ago. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that she suffers from separation anxiety. Prior to coming into my care, Peach was mistreated and used for breeding for several years. Despite her difficult past, she is the sweetest dog I have ever met. Peach is a very calm dog, doesn't bark, and is just as sweet as pie. However, her anxiety only becomes apparent when I leave. She howls and cries for as long as I'm gone, which has made it difficult for me to leave her alone. I'm hoping to find someone who can work with her, perhaps a multi-person household. Although Peach is okay with living in the city, I have a feeling that she would love to have more space and a quieter environment.
