Oh my goodness!!! It's possible you may have not ever seen a cute puppy on the planet. NeverMind his stunning eyes! Rocky is just a little guy, 6 weeks currently but will be 8 weeks before he leaves us ! He's super sociable. Currently he's in a foster home in Memphis Tn with Michele and her family. And LOTS of other dogs of all sizes and ages. His mom is a stunning black lab, Raven. We use a transport company called Rescue Vet Transport to get our pets from Memphis, Tn to the northeast. They travel each weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday mornings around 6 AM. Once they leave Memphis, they start a group chat with the two drivers and everyone who has A Pet on board. They make stuffs along the route as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island meeting newly adoptive parents. (transport is an additional $185) once an application has been submitted and approved, Michele would be happy to speak with you about Little Rocky, send you videos, photos answer any questions you might have about him. You will find that our volunteer team is very responsive. Please make sure your vet has permission to speak with us. also, please make sure you're ready to adopt a pet before submitting an adoption application. Once the application has been approved, the selection process begins. As with any adoption, we want to ensure our dogs are going into the best fit home – not only for them, but for you as well. Pet adoption is a big commitment and we want to make sure these dogs don’t endure anymore hardships than they already have.
The final step in the adoption process is the spay/neuter contract (assuming the puppy is too young or unable to be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption).
Once the adoption process has been finalized, we will make reservations for transport to your area. **Please note: Most of our dogs are fostered in Memphis, TN - our transport runs about once a week to New York.**

The euthanasia rate in this city is a staggering 79%. We watch perfectly healthy, well-adjusted pets be euthanized daily because there simply are not enough homes for them all. The solution...stronger spay/neuter laws and education but until then, these pets deserve a future too!
