My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, everyone! I'm Perdita, a sweet and velvety bully mix, just about 1 year old. I'm still learning that the world is safe, so I can be a little shy when meeting new people. Once I've had a chance to get to know someone, I become very curious and extremely cuddly. My people say that I'm "velcro dog," because I love to be close and snuggle. My favorite thing is a cozy nap, and I will curl up on anything soft. Sometimes I forget that I'm not a cat and take naps on the back of the sofa! I also make everyone laugh when I invent games for myself by throwing my toys around. I'm crate trained, housetrained, friendly with both dogs and cats, and at just 41 lbs, I don't pull too hard on a leash. Because I'm afraid of loud noises and boisterous mannerisms, I would probably do best in house with calmer children aged 8 and older.
