Griffin’s story as told by his first foster mom.
In 2021, I fostered a handsome young male cat with the most vibrant green eyes. Griffin was adopted by a young lady who signed the adoption papers stating she would be his forever home. She later moved and didn’t take Griffin with her. She rehomed Griffin to an elderly gentleman. Griffin lived life inside with his elderly owner, but in 2024 the elderly man passed away. When the family came to clean out the home they sadly threw poor Griffin outside to fend for himself. Remember, Griffin is an inside only cat. Griffin was trying to seek shelter from the pouring rain in his neighbors’ flower bed. The neighbor felt sorry for Griffin and took him to the Valley City Vet Clinic to be surrendered. Poor Griffin was not deserving of such cruel behavior, especially for such a sweet cat, who had never lived a day outside of a loving home. It saddens me that Griffin is now looking for a new forever home. If you’re looking for a cat who is good with other calm cats, dogs, and people, Griffin fits the bill! He is by far the calmest cat that I have fostered and he does not scratch furniture/carpet or get into mischief! He also has the softest fur! Griffin loves to be in the same room as his family and absolutely loves affection. If you are looking to adopt, please consider sweet Griffin. He is so deserving of finding his forever home.
