My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURESTY POST It's hard to believe but Pippin the puppy was dumped on the side of the road. His rescuer glimpsed beside the road as she was driving by and stopped. He did not run away from her and sat down in a pool of murky muddy water and looked up at her with those big sad eyes. She scooped him up and took him back to her car and he fell asleep on the ride home. He is such a sweetheart. He is about 4 months old and 30 lbs of pure love. He is good with other dogs and adores humans. He has such a gentle personality and so eager to please. The ideal home will have a fenced yard because he is going to be a big boy! He does not do well with cats because he wants to chase them. This beautiful hound mix is ready to find his forever, is that you? If you would like to know more about Pippin please call Nancy at 919-207-7459 or email nancygump1@gmail.com.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Once the adoption application is received, a home visit will be set up. If that goes well and is approved, then a vet check is completed (if the applicant has recently owned an animal, if not, two professional references will be required). Once both of those are approved, then the adoption fee will need to be paid.
