I'm Ember, a 3-year-old long-hair handsome boy, who is suddenly in a no-pets situation. If it weren't so, I'd still be home. Listen to my former owner: "Ember is a shy but loving cat. He knows who he can trust and once he has built that trust, he will be your best friend. Enjoys back scratched and when you throw around little stuffed toys, he almost reminds me of a dog running after them. He loves the laser and fresh water straight from the faucet. He tends to stay to himself when new people are around but once he's comfortable, he'll be out and about wanting to know what's going on. He does like to sleep under the bed but if you give him the opportunity, he will come up and cuddle with you." Did she mention I'm great with other cats and kids, even little kids! Any takers for a perfect family cat, me?

To adopt a pet from Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, you must:

-Be at least 18 years of age
-Have a U.S. government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or state ID
-Verify that you are allowed to have a pet of the breed and size where you currently live
-Be able to provide necessary medical treatment, training, and proper care for your pet

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is a limited-admission humane society and provides services to over 34,000 cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens each year. Operating continuously since 1925, we have been positively impacting animal welfare and addressing overpopulation in Palm Beach County through a variety of services.

Our Vision is to create a community where 100% of the adoptable animals find loving homes and no animals will be euthanized because of pet overpopulation.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Humane Society of the Palm Beaches, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and does not receive funding from city, county, state, or federal government, or local organizations with similar names. We rely solely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations to provide quality programs and services to the community.
