Lou is a total gem! He gets along with dogs, cats, adults, children…you name it this boy is all it! Lou was on the heavy side when he came to us but since being in his foster home, he has lost a total of 8 pounds and currently weighs 82 pounds. We are so proud of him! The vet feels that he should be about 70 pounds…he is a big boy but a pure lap dog. Lou is house trained, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He rides well in the car and loves his walks on a leash. He is a total snuggle bug and loves to cuddle up with his foster Springer companion.
Lou was shot when he was 3 years old and has 2 BB shots lodged in his left sinus. This has left Lou prone to an ear infection in his left ear and nasal discharge. The good news is this is totally manageable with daily ear drops ($22 per month) and 1 pill for his sinus ($48 per month) and a weekly ear flush that is done at home. Lou is looking for someone who will be committed to giving his meds daily and following up with regular bloodwork. This is an absolute must for this boy to remain healthy.
If you think that you are that special person for Lou, please complete the adoption application below and a volunteer will reach out to you.
