My name is Kai!

We adopted Kai last July. She came to Michigan from Texas, and from what we know, she was used to breed her whole life. She was shaved to the skin and she was very sad and timid. She is extremely sweet, does not bark at all (heard her bark once) and she feels safest in her crate. She does love to walk on her leash, but can get scared easily if she hears loud noises. She is scared of the school bus and garbage truck for example. She is fully trained and has never had an accident in the house. Also, she is not a big eater but loves treats. She doesn’t play with toys yet, not sure she knows how but she is getting better at sitting next to us and going out in the backyard.
She needs a family with tonnes of love and patience as she is still learning what it’s like to be part of a family.
She will be 4 years on in July and she is getting used to her monthly grooming appointments. Also, she does well in the car. Kai has a lot of personality still to be found.
