Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Goldie is affectionate, friendly and outgoing. She is sociable, enjoys human company and is not shy around new people. Goldie plays with various cat toys and is especially fond of running through a cat tunnel, at times she just relaxes inside the tunnel! Goldie is a people kitty and will seek out your lap. She is a connoisseur of food, no free feeding for this chunky girl! Goldie can be a door darter so you may need to shoo her away from an open door to the outside world. She will go belly up on a big comfy chair and kneads on soft blankets. Goldie's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family with older children. It is best that Goldie be in a home as the only pet. She is four years old with a flaming red coat but with a glowing personality! Goldie has soft green eyes and distinctive nose freckles that increase her charm. She came to Friends of Jackson County declawed on the front paws so Goldie must be an inside cat only. Our rescue disapproves of declawing as the claws are a vital part of every cat. She is FIV & FeLV negative.
Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
