What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal.

Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY.

BARLOW was saved from euthanasia due to her leg being injured which resulted in her leg needed to be amputated. Our sanctuary saved her so that we could bring her here. She is a lovely little girl who is adjusting well to life with 3 legs. BARLOW would need some time to adjust to her new environment especially with one less leg, but who can blame her.

This baby is spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccinations, is FIV and FeLV/Feline Leukemia Negative, and ready to find a soft spot to land and enjoy a family!

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a Charitable, not -for profit organization, created to save the lives of animals. We rescue animals that are located in "KILL" facilities and underwrite the costs of relocating them to "NO KILL" facilities in hopes of finding them a forever family. We work with local veterinarians for spay-neuter/ medical services until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened loving home.
