What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Garfield, a handsome brown tabby with orange undertones and a resting grump face (like a certain lasagna-loving cartoon you may know). After living on the streets and becoming my porch cat for a year, Garfield is ready to retire indoors as your resident snuggler. While he still enjoys going outside to explore from time to time, he's happiest when sitting near (or on) you. Garfield has been fixed, is FIV/FeLV negative (and vaxxed for both), flea treated, and has his rabies shot. He is a low-maintenance boy who would love to find a home to call his own as he doesn’t have the nicest manners with other cats. He would do best as an only cat. Garfield is friendly and affectionate but is still learning to relax and trust. He can get nervous and may run or swat if he thinks you're moving too fast or are lifting a hand to hit him when petting. Mainly, he wants to sit on your lap purring, get pets/brushes, and then fall asleep. 10/10 would recommend this sweet, big boy.
