My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barbie, the 1 year old Mountain Cur, is a lovable pup with a heart of gold. While she may be a little shy at first, she is incredibly sweet and gentle once she warms up to you. Weighing in at 41 lbs., Barbie is still puppy at heart. Although, she doesn't know how to play with toys and would benefit from someone who can teach her what they are all about. However, what she lacks in toy knowledge, she makes up for in affection and personable charm.

This darling pup is always eager to please her humans, making her a joy to have around. With a little patience and love, Barbie is sure to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion for anyone.

Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter

Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
