My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beans, a 46 lb. 3 year old, is a sweet and loving dog who is quite timid in nature. He thrives on love and loyalty but can be easily overwhelmed by loud or chaotic environments. A quiet home with a patient and experienced owner would be the ideal setting for Beans to flourish. It is important to note that young children may be too much for Beans to handle, so an adult-only household or one with older, respectful children would be best.

An experienced owner who can work with Beans on his timidness and help him build confidence would be essential in providing him with a stable and loving forever home.

Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter

Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
